The Everyday Collective

Paul Woodruffe started his career as a graphic designer and art director for print media and film in 1979. From 1984 practicing primarily in the fine arts, notably landscape painting and small-scale sculpture. After graduating with a Masters in Landscape Architecture in 2010, and as a staff member in the Department of Design and Visual Arts at Unitec he established in 2010, the “everyday collective laboratory” a vehicle to gather together like-minded practioners and researchers to explore new methods of collaborative multi-disciplinary practice and to explore new community advocacy strategies through the use of the creative arts.

Paul is interested in creating connections between institutions of learning, institutions of governance, and local community organizations using information architecture and knowledge transfer technologies along side traditional methods of creative expression.
