Te Noho Kotahitanga Marae, Building 178, Gate 3, Unitec, Carrington Rd, Mt Albert

The  symposium explores the relationship between culture and social/economic development, including relevant narratives from the Rosebank Peninsula. The symposium is being offered in conjunction with the cultural event at Rosebank Peninsula in Auckland in which 25 artists, performers and designers create work about the area and in the area.

The symposium delegates will walk through Unitec on the old grounds of the 19th century Auckland Provincial Lunatic Asylum, with some historical commentary from a special guest (TBA), to arrive at the opening of the exhibition Rosebank: artifacts of place in Snowhite Gallery, Building One, Unitec.

RSVP with Irena Arendalovic ( before March 12th. Sixty places are available with koha. A full schedule will be online by the beginning of March and will be provided to registered delegates by email.
